Father Pablo Straub, CSSR

We just got word that Fr. Pablo Straub passed away this morning. He spoke to us many times at the monastery, and we always picture him holding the large crucifix which was ever-present when he preached. Please pray for the repose of the soul of this holy priest who touched many, many souls in his lifetime.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

  6. I cannot tell you how very much I loved Pablo Straub. I was one of his many spiritual daughters and will cherish all of the private spiritual direction he gave me when he was in the United States. Pray for me Pablo from your real home in Heaven

  7. Rest in Peace Father. You are definitely a Saint.

Father invested me in the brown scapular that I continue to wear daily. He definitely helped change my life forever by planting seeds. The Blessed Virgin has a bigger smile today.

  8. I met Fr. Pablo Straub at my Church “San Secondo D’Asti Catholic Church” in Guasti CA. a few years ago. Fr. Louis Marx our beautiful Pastor at San Secondo allowed a mission back then in which Fr. Pablo presided. http://www.sansecondodasti.org/

I’m an usher at San Secondo and noticed Fr. Pablo sitting in the sacristy and was so overwhelmed by his holiness, I invited my wife over to meet Fr. Pablo so we could receive a blessing together.

This you might find interesting, as my now wife and I were kneeling in front of Fr. Pablo receiving our blessing he asked, “Do you have children?”, we replied “No Father not yet, but we are trying to have children”. he then looked away puzzled for a moment, turning back to us he said “You do have children, you two boys”, I looked at my wife as I had tears, she also had tears and said, “Fr. 15 years ago we were very young and scared, we aborted two pregnancies which were both about 4 weeks into her pregnancy”, Fr. Pablo looked at us and said “Don’t worry they are with Jesus right now, you will see them again”.

Please pray for Fr. Pablo as I will, such a beautiful Catholic Priest will never be forgotten.

God Bless You Fr. Pablo Forever in Our Hearts And Prayers.

    Love,
    Ben & Yani
