Requiescat in Pace, Beloved Mother

Please join with our community, and the faithful around the world, in praying for the blessed repose of the soul of our beloved Mother Mary Angelica of the Annunciation, who passed into eternity around 5pm this evening.

In paradisum deducant te Angeli; in tuo adventu suscipiant te martyres, et perducant te in civitatem sanctam Ierusalem. Chorus angelorum te suscipiat, et cum Lazaro quondam paupere æternam habeas requiem.
“May the angels lead you into paradise; may the martyrs receive you at your arrival and lead you to the holy city Jerusalem. May choirs of angels receive you and with Lazarus, once poor, may you have eternal rest.”

  1. Dearest Sisters and daughters of Mother Angelica…my prayers are with you. There is a beautiful version of “Lux Aeterna” by John Ritter that reflects our love and appreciation of her life at

As the lyrics say, “Lux aeterna luceat eis Domine: Sanctis tuis in aeternum quia pius es”
(Let your light shine upon them, O Lord: With thy saints forever, for Thou art merciful)

  2. Hello Dear Sisters,
We mourn along with you the passing of Mother Angelica, and join our prayers to yours in supplication to the Divine Mercy for the happy repose of her soul. “Incline Thine ear, O Lord, unto our prayers, wherein we humbly pray Thee to show Thy mercy upon the soul of Thy servant Angelica, whom Thou hast commanded to pass out of this world, that Thou wouldst place her in the region of peace and light, and bid her be a partaker with Thy Saints. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.” With much love ~ the Martinez Family
