About Us

  • Poor Clare Nuns of Perpetual Adoration
  •  A Franciscan Community dedicated to adoration of Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament
  • Roman Catholic nuns called by God to a life of prayer and sacrifice. Our vocation is both a privilege and a responsibility entrusted to us by Our Lord
  • Our contemplative life gives witness to the primacy of God
  • We pray for the Church, the world, and especially the intentions recommended to us, before Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament
  • In Eucharistic adoration we find an effective means of growing in holiness and contributing to the salvation of the world.

  1. Sisters, my husband and I want to ask if you accept donations (furniture, Christmas decorations, clothes). If so would you please give us an address where we can deliver the items.

  2. I am asking for your feedback….I bought an ad for Nonnavita in my parish bulletin several months ago & it is time to renew. I am happy to renew if your, Dear Sisters, have seen increased sales results (from the Castroville area), to which we can attribute to the ad. If the ad is not effective in increasing sales, I would rather contribute directly to you. Please let me know – by email is fine. With love, Barbara

  3. Please correct yoru page on the Cannonization of Pope John XXIII – that’s 23rd – you have John the XXiI – which is 22nd.

  4. Dear Sisters,

I have really enjoyed being with you when I am driving home from a hectic day at work. You all cheer me up. Thank you for your uplifting show! I heard yesterday a little bit about the Serenity Novena and would like to know where I can find it on your blog. Would you kindly forward it to me
via email? I am so in need of a novena like this as I am having a very difficult time staying calm
and holy dealing with my two teenage sons,Jeremy and Shawn. I thank you all so much for who you are and what you do.

    God Bless You all,

  5. God will bless you…and take care of you…as you proceed with the foundation plans.
Please remember the City of Detroit retirees who risk losing most of–if not all–their
pension income. They did not pay into social security and will be destitute. Some,
in their 80’s & 90’s will literally be kicked out of assisted living because of the income
loss. The municipal bankruptcy–if allowed to proceed–will set precedents throughout
    the nation!

  6. Sisters, I was wondering if there is an opportunity to check out the soaps if we can’t make it to La Cantera. Is there any other way? Thanks for all the work you do! God bless!!!
